BHS Women’s Imaging Center

To house many of our women’s health services, we have dedicated a department within Butler Memorial Hospital as the BHS Women’s Imaging Center.

Designed for and staffed by women, BHS Women’s Imaging Center is a comfortable, supportive environment where privacy and convenience are valued. Whether you’re here for routine testing or advanced treatment, we strive to provide individualized, state-of-the-art care for our neighbors. With this in mind, we offer evening appointments, streamlined registration, play areas for children, a comfortable waiting room and private changing rooms.

Above all, we understand that you want the finest care available. The BHS Women’s Imaging Center has the latest in advanced diagnostic care, from screening mammograms to diagnostic procedures. It has even been designated as a “Breast Imaging Center of Excellence” by the American College of Radiology’s Commission on Quality and Safety and the Commission of Breast Imaging.

As such, we offer digital mammography, breast ultrasound, and MRI breast scans as well as stereotactic, ultrasound and MR-guided biopsy exams. If a patient requires further diagnostic images, she can get results on-site to ease anxiety. Biopsy results are processed through a radiologist and a pathologist in just a few days.
